I had my ob appointment on wednesday and they tried hearing the heartbeat but couldn't find one. The dr said it was probably just too early and sent me for an ultrasound thursday morning. I was so relieved when I saw my tiny little baby on the screen! It was kicking its tiny little legs and bouncing around all over the place! It was one of the most amazing things I have ever seen! I think this time is going to work out just fine. So far everything is perfect. I know I'm not out the woods yet but I am staying postive.
Welcome to Pregnancy after Loss. So glad they saw the heartbeat and you are feeling so good about this pregnancy. Did you have a loss before? Congratulations on your pregnancy. Wishing you a happy and healthy 9 months.
Never mind my question I am silly and forgot that you had posted a week or so ago about being worried. Sorry about that. Glad it all worked out.
They couldn't hear this baby's heartbeat on a Doppler until 13 weeks. I have an anterior placenta, which made finding it really hard. It's always scary, while you're waiting for a heartbeat and not hearing one.
That's great that you got to see your baby!!! I remember being really surprised at how baby-looking the embryo/fetus was already at 11 weeks, with a face and hands and everything. So much fun to see. I'm sorry they couldn't find the heartbeat at first though, that's REALLY stressful, they never even tried the Doppler on me until 12 weeks and I think I was lucky that they found it then!!
