For the moms that have had children before.
Did your children arrive on time, early or late (40 weeks being on time)?

I had Moose at 38 weeks. (Which made me feel awesome because I was so sick of people telling me that first time moms ALWAYS go late. Like that's a law or something!)

With Danica I was due on Oct 3. My water broke on Oct 2 at 9:30pm and she was born on Oct 4 at 4:20am lol....so I'd say she was pretty much right on time!

My son was 6 days late but he had to be induced so he would have stayed in longer if he could .

I was induced with all of mine. My 1st ds was induced at 40 weeks for failing the NST. My 2nd ds was induced 15 DAYS LATE!!! Grrr. Then my twin dd's were induced at 30 weeks as a result of pre-e and my kidneys started to shut down.
Please, please, Id love for this one to actually come on his own!

I was induced with all 3, as well. With DD1 my fluid started leaking w/o labor at 40 weeks 5 days. She would have stayed longer, I was 0 dialated and 0 effaced. DD2 and DS were induced due to obstetric cholestasis, a rare liver disorder. They came at 38+4 and 39+1.

With Alex she was born at 35wks6days and was a good size baby they tried to tell my i was wrong on my dates

With Ryker he was born at 38wks3days i'd assume he would have cooked longer had i not asked my ob to try a membrane sweep.

I have a feeling this baby will be late.

DD I went into labor on my own at 35.5 weeks . I was given pitocen to help push my labor along so it wasn't a full induction.
DS I was induced at 39 weeks after going into PTL at 30 weeks. He was getting to big for me . He measured 42 weeks at 38 haha.

I too get sick of people telling me that ALL first time moms go late. My mom never went late. DH was born first and early. The farthest along anyone in my family has gone is 38 weeks 4 days.

Liam was three weeks, one day early (born at 36+6)...by my EDD which was no where near exact at the time (birth control bebe). NICU doctors estimated he was actually only in the 35-week range based on his development. So early any way you slice it!

Your DD was born on my wedding anniversary!

With my DD I was induced at 36w5d for pre E and delivered at 36w6d. I have no idea what my body would have done if left to it's own devices! Hopefully I'll be finding out soon with this LO (but not too soon).

DS was born at 35 Weeks 6 days after having labor stopped twice. He spent 9 days in the NICU.

I am praying to make it to 36 weeks !

I also have been induced all 3 times.

With Cora we confirmed her death at 38+1 and I was induced 38+2, but I'm sure she would have been born the night she died if she hadn't been wrapped up in her cord.

Erin was induced at 38 even because I couldn't emotionally handle going past that point.

Patrick was induced at 39+3 because, though I wanted to go into labor on my own with him, the stress and anxiety was too much for me and I had a breakdown on my OB and she suggested just inducing.

We're planning on inducing Allison at 39 weeks.

39 +2 , I was SO worried about going early (like 32 weeks when I was born) that every week after that I felt was Awesome! I also mentally prepared for 41+ weeks because I didn't want to be disappointed. KWIM? Up until the weks she was born I felt like I was going to be pregnant till June - and then may 11th or so I just *knew* she'd be here soon.

adding - I remember reading first time moms on average go to 41 weeks. SO it's better to add a week to your EDD - especially if you are the impatient type who's going to get cranky if your baby is 'late'

I had my first 7-10 days early, depending on which edd you go by (they were going by my LMP at the time, but now that I know more about my cycles I think my LMP EED was 3 days off).

I had my second 3 days early.

Both girls came on their own.

Cecil was born at 35 weeks...my water broke early in the morning and shortly after that contractions started up I delivered naturally after 9 hours of labor from the moment my water broke

Asher was born at almost 36 weeks....I was induced due to fetal distress and had a csection
