Ok so I thought doing it by age might be more fun and easier .
How many outfits will you get or have you gotten for the 0-3months age range?
Will you put a onsie under everything? (layers)
Post a picture of your favorite 0-3 month outfit either planning to purchase or have purchased. (not the go home outfit ).
Not counting some PJ's that I have left from DS. I don't have anything. I know that I really should at least start looking and thinking , but I think that I will wait unit September to start buying stuff.
I will put a Onsie under most things for the first year.
If this bean is a boy I have tons of sleep and plays and pj's and such. I always keep a onesie under their outfits, even if it's warm (then I just cut the sleeves off). Being a December baby, I'll definitely have onesies.
If I have a girl then I don't have a clue the appropriate number of outfits and such to have for a newborn. I had hand-me-downs from day one with my first...and used those and a few supplemental new outfits for my second...I know by the 2nd we had too much, so I'm a bit lost.
Hoping I have a little man in there so I don't have to worry about clothes...like ever! hahaha I'll need a few winter items, and a coat...but again, my sister has boys that won't need that stufff so I'm set.

(6), (3) and a due Dec. 25, 2011 and one up above and forever in our hearts.
In the 0-3 month category I have about 25-30 things (mostly sleepers and onesies). The majority were given to me by DHs cousin who just had a boy in March.
I don't put onesies under everything, just under 2 piece outfits. With DD, she wore more sleepers than anything though. Easier and just seemed more confortable for her, especially being born in the fall which is the same as this time around.
Forever missing our angel November 9, 2010, with us for 9 weeks
As a first time mom, I wish someone would have told me how quickly they will grow out of the 0-3M clothes. My DD had one NB outfit and wore it one time home from the hospital. It really didn't fit but it was the only outfit I had with us.
We got 8 rubbermaid crates of hand-me-downs from a co-worker so I told everyone not to buy clothes. Everyone bought clothes. People love to buy clothes for a baby. They also buy lots of NB and 0-3 clothes. I bought a couple pairs of pants and that's all we needed. If you can stand it, wait until the baby is here and then buy the things you don't receive as gifts.
My final piece of advice...zip up onesies are your friend!!! Buttons at 2AM when you've only been asleep since 1AM suck.
I think I should go into a corner...I have over 50 0-3 month outfits. Pretty much split between sleepers/all-in-ones and pants/tops sets. BUT, in my defense, I have not bought any of that size for Kieran. They were all left from Liam. He was super-tiny for a LONG time so I kept getting new clothes as gifts and bought some myself. He outgrew 0-3 months in March or so...when he was 4.5 months. It was the next size we basically skipped over (3-6) because of his growth spurt.
So yeah, we have PLENTY for Kieran!
I do have onsies for 0-3 months, but mostly I do not put them on in the house. If we are out in the cold weather, I will put one him. Or if the outfit is not a onsie (rare). But I did not often layer Liam because he was a hot-body. I will have to see what this one is like. For Liam, it was just one more thing to wash when he pooped all over!
I will post a pic later...when I figure out my favorite one (or two or three!)
I have a couple outfits, not a ton. My last baby was born in Dec so the seasons are off. I have no winter 0-3m clothes but tons of summer stuff. My kids all tend to be petite and stayed in newborn clothes a long time so I'm hoping I have time to get stuff.

i have only bought a light sleeper with elephants on it and a sleep sack with ducks on it so far.I will have to look through clothes from my son to see what i can use since the seasons are off, My son was born in May and this baby also a boy is due in November.
I have about 15-20 onesies, 4 sleep sacks and swaddle sacks, and ~10 plain white cotton t-shirts and long-sleeve mitten shirts, for 0-3 month (including some that say "3 month"). I think that's more than enough especially considering she will be a Mississippi summer baby and probably will be mostly naked a lot! And I think she will be big too... estimated weight was 8 lb 10 oz at the last appt, she feels huge and strong in my belly, and I expect to go post-dates... I wouldn't be surprised to have a 9-10 lb'er at the end of the day...
