I had been having some cramping and pelvic pressure for a few days and realized last night that it was becoming organized and happening every 10 mins! It wasn't really that painful, felt like period cramps but I had them in my back and legs too. The pressure felt like a need to push though and that scared me.

So I called my OB he sent me to L&D. They hooked me up to the machines. Baby was fine, bouncing all over the place. The machine couldn't pick up my contractions so she had me use a clicker thing to record when I felt them. They gave me a shot of terbutaline (makes you very dizzy!), checked me - closed up tight and did the swab test for preterm labor and sent me home with instructions to stay out of the heat and stay hydrated.

I go to the OB in about an hour for a follow up and find out the results of the swab test.

I hope this one doesn't come early! At least not this early!!

***UPDATED***

OB checked me again and I'm still closed tight and the results of the swab test came back negative so according to him, that means I won't be going into labor in the next two weeks! He doesn't think I'll go to term, he just wants her to cook another 3-4 weeks. So we'll see. I had something similar with my son around 32 weeks and we were both sure I'd go early and I only went a week early. So you never know.

Oh and she has moved, she is off my cervix and is back to transverse (or diagonal really). As long as she stays that way I don't think I'll have any more contractions.

I'm so glad to hear your little girl is staying put! Sorry you had a scare and had to go to the hospital though. Try to get your rest (I'm sure VERY hard with kids!) and I'm sure she'll stay put in there now that she's in a better position!
