Update 5/30:

NST looks great, baby very active, BP 104/80, platelets went UP again to 100K from 94K on Saturday! All other labs stable. Will be going back in on Thursday for a recheck of blood work, NST, biophysical profile, and they are setting me up with an anesthesia consult to discuss if I do end up with a section (most likely) spinal vs. general and I am going to plead my case about not wanting general and ask about a platelet transfusion if needed. Apparently the hospitals cut off for a spinal is platelets at 100K, below that it is at the discretion of the anesthesiologist on that day. Got to find some good research articles about risks for general for mom and baby and managing the risk with a platelet transfusion.

Wish me luck! Just happy baby boy gets to cook another few days, and maybe longer! (my VBAC is still a pretty distant wish but not entirely off the table if platelets stay stable).

oh, and off bedrest too (that is more for BP issues which I don't have) which is actually OK since DH is going back to work tomorrow and I will be with DD and can't do bedrest, but I am to take it easy and no more working.

************************************************** *********

Went in this morning for a recheck on labs, blood pressure and NST. Baby was a little sleepy but reactive, BP was 100/60, and platelets actually came up to 94K from 91K yesterday and all other labs were stable. So, we continue bed rest for me and go back Monday morning for repeat labs, check and NST.

Hopefully they will stick around in the 90's and maybe go up a bit more and we can get to at least 38 weeks, if not even longer!

Thanks Ladies! I'm hoping to at least get another week in, especially because boys lungs develop on average 1-2 weeks slower than girls so I'd like him to have as much time as possible in there!

Great news! I hope your BP stays lower and you make it to 38 weeks. It must be so stressful for you!

YAY my high-platelet dust is working!!! Seriously though, that is GREAT news. I'm glad your BP is staying nice and low too. Hopefully all you have to do is keep taking it easy and your blood counts will keep on cooperating nicely. Still sending T&P for you and little boy hun, KUP...
