How are you sleeping lately?
Do you sleep different when you are pregnant?
What position do you sleep in normally?
How about now?
Do you like naps?
Do you get to take them?

How are you sleeping lately? Not horrible, but I could be happy if I stayed asleep longer!

Do you sleep different when you are pregnant? I am starting to sleep different than I did.

What position do you sleep in normally? I would usually start out on my right side all the time and end up waking up on my tummy.

How about now? I don't know why, but it is more comfortable on my left side so that is good. I used to wake up on my tummy in the morning. Now I wake up in the middle of the night when I go too far on my tummy. I have a feeling I won't even be able to get on my tummy before too long.

Do you like naps? HA! I absolutely love naps. They are my lifesaver.

Do you get to take them? Not very often as I am still teaching. But, come June 9 when I am out of school, you bet I will take as many as I can!

As the 40+-weeker of PAL, I should have an interesting perspective on this thing you call "sleep"...

How are you sleeping lately? Depends on the baby and my uterus - sometimes I manage to sleep "through the night" (have to get up every hour to pee and switch sides from my sore hip, but otherwise actually sleep), but sometimes (like tonight) I am getting too much baby movement, heartburn and stomach discomfort to really sleep at all. Some nights it's contractions keeping me up but not this time. I got up to eat and because the baby kept kicking me, and now I'm just not tired.
Do you sleep different when you are pregnant? At this point? YES
What position do you sleep in normally? Usually I use a couple of pillows and sleep on my back or sides, sometimes on my stomach to fall asleep
How about now? I prop myself up with a reading pillow and 2 pillows on that, a pillow under my belly, and a pillow between my legs, and I only lay on one side or the other
Do you like naps? Yes
Do you get to take them? Yes, generally, thank goodness

How are you sleeping lately? OK, once I get to sleep. I am having some nightmares, and that's messing up my sleep.
Do you sleep different when you are pregnant? Yes.
What position do you sleep in normally? I normally sleep on my left side but mostly on my belly with my right leg bent and raised to waist level.
How about now? When I sleep in my 'normal' position, I feel the baby kicking constantly, so I take that as an objection and try to put less pressure on my belly.
Do you like naps? I'm not much of a napper. It takes far too long for me to fall asleep.
Do you get to take them? I've napped once this pregnancy.

How are you sleeping lately? Not too bad.
Do you sleep different when you are pregnant? Oh yeah!
What position do you sleep in normally? Normally on my stomach.
How about now? Now, I'm on one side or the other, with my Snoogle.
Do you like naps? Yup.
Do you get to take them? Rarely. Occasionally on the weekend I will when DD is napping, but I tend to use her naps as times to get other things done.

How are you sleeping lately? Not to bad. Some nights I am up a lot (awake, not actually UP). But the insomnia has, thank goodness, faded much earlier this time
Do you sleep different when you are pregnant? Yeah. I am usually a rock-soild (as much as possible) sleeper. I fall asleep fast, sleep well, and wake up as late as I can humanly manage. I have always loved to sleep. Pregnant I take a while to fall asleep and don't generally stay asleep long. I wake up and often can not go back to sleep in the middle of the night. I have insomnia starting early in the second tri and lasting a few weeks (with Liam it was well more than "a few" weeks). But it does go away.
What position do you sleep in normally? On my belly, arms above my head.
How about now? Same, I just put a pillow under my belly on the left side to prop me up a bit off the belly.
Do you like naps? I LOVE naps!
Do you get to take them? Nope, not at all. I think I have taken two naps this whole pregnancy. With Liam's, I took one daily. The difference between a first and second child
