Okay, a little back story. After Cora died my husband and I took stock of the things we should keep and things we should return. We knew we'd have more kids, so we decided the furniture and clothing we'd keep, but the bath stuff, and the diapers and wipes we'd return. Needless to say, returning several packages of diapers and having to explain why was rather traumatizing.

When Erin was born, I didn't buy any diapers at all until we got home from the hospital. I just couldn't buy another package of diapers until I knew I needed them without a doubt.

With Patrick, I plucked up my courage and bought a package the day before I was induced. And freaked out. It was such a hard thing for me to do.

Well, today I was at Target, and I bought a package of newborn diapers. At 28 weeks. I did freak out and had to have a friend remind me it wouldn't jinx things. But now that I've gotten through that, I'm proud of myself. I can't believe how well I'm doing emotionally this go around.

I am super happy for you Brittanie. I had early losses and have been nervous about buying diapers. I have everything for the baby in one corner of the closet in case something happens... then the boys can just throw it all away before I get home. Its so crazy for me to think this way.

I am so happy about your house, your attitude and everything else. You have given so much to so many people and it brings me joy that you are feeling happiness.

I totally admit, I hid it in the corner of the closet of what will be her nursery, because looking at them still kind of freaks me out.

But I have them! lol

I had to return CJ's car seat so I totally get how tramatizing that can be. It was easier to buy her clothes than the darn car seat which I chickened out on more than one occasion. I am very proud of you for plucking up the courage!

Yeah, clothes have been really easy this go around. It helps that there's so much cute giraffe stuff! lol I haven't gotten Allison a carseat yet, but I've been waiting until we got moved to do that. lol Furniture too. So as soon as we get everything moved over to the house I'll be painting her nursery so that I can buy furniture!
