Will it do anything other than bounce? The one we have is Fisher Price and it plays music and lights up. It's so much fun! The newer FP ones are nice but I really like this one.

Honestly, with all my baby's, Ive never owned a bouncy seat! I mean between holding the baby alot (I never put them down!) and the swing, I could not see having another baby item like that, lol!

Are you getting one? Yup
Will it do anything other than bounce? Yes, it will vibrate, sing, and have lights! Lol.
Do you already have one? Which one are you getting or do you have? We already have two of them. One is the "My little Lamb" seat by Fisher Price. We bought that for Liam and he hated it. It was soft and cute...but not nearly entertaining enough for him. So we borrowed a Baby Einstein one from Julia's family (who have since given it to me) that he loved. It was "overload" bouncer but Liam was an intense baby and needed all the singing and lights and vibrations. The silly little stuffed lambs and mirror on the Lambie one were not doing it for him. So we shall see which one Kieran prefers.

On the backside of the toy bar on ^^ that one, it has a light show that lights up pictures of animals and flashes in different patterns and colors. It would seriously make me have a seizure if I watched it for ten minutes...but Liam thought it was the best thing ever. It was the only way I ever got a shower when he was a baby.

We have this one up in the attic, saved from when Athena was a baby:

I'm not sure what it is called... a "kick n' play"??? There is a toy bar that hooks up to it that lights up when baby kicks the seat. Obviously, you don't have to leave the toy bar on. It also vibrates, but she never like that feature.
Athena slept in this seat for much of her first 5 months. She was sleeping through the night by 6 weeks next to our bed in this seat (even though she was exclusively breastfed). It was a life saver.

Are you getting one? We have one from our first loss.
Will it do anything other than bounce? It has music, vibrates and bounces. I won't get one without the vibrate feature. Its a life saver for gas pains.
Do you already have one? Yep have one already.
Which one are you getting or do you have? I have no idea what type it is

I had one like the first one that Ash posted a pic of for Patrick and he HATED it. It didn't bounce at all, and he hated the vibrator. So I got rid of it. I need to get a new one. It'll definitely bounce...but I don't know about the rest of it.

I will absolutely have one. My kiddos loved it! My dd was super fussy and the only relief I got was when she was sitting in her bouncy looking at the hanging toys on it and vibrating. The problem was that it only vibrated for three minutes. Once it went off she would whine and whatever I was doing like getting ready or making dinner had to wait for a minute while I ran over to push the button again. The funny part... I realized AFTER she outgrew it that there was a switch that would have let it vibrate indefinitely until I turned it off. Duh! That would've saved me many, many trips to the bouncy seat!

Are you getting one? Yes, my old one bit it.
Will it do anything other than bounce? Vibrate/bounce and play songs...several I hope because my other one played one "ditty" that repeated constantly and drove me nuts.
Do you already have one? Nope
Which one are you getting or do you have? I have no idea yet...haven't looked.
