As many of you know i was being bitter and crabby and staying away because of horrid appointments with my former doctor - he denied me my 18-20 week scan, didn't offer/counsel about the optional testing, and was just an all around *******.

I had an appointment with a different one on July 11th and he was amazing. He put me in for an urgent ultrasound which i had at 22 weeks and one day (the tuesday that just passed), and he talked to me about the optional tests (which i declined anyway but i still had to be offered them).

My ultrasound was great, baby measured six days behind but the tech didnt' seem phased by that, and also he was being a squiggly little worm and wouldn't stay still and kept hiding behind my belly button the tech said - so she found it hard to get the measurements. He also plays the same game for trying to get his heart rate. He was not shy at all at the end about showing his bits off.

And next month i finally get to switch to a female doctor for the remainder of my care - which i am super happy about.
