Believe me, I'm VERY happy to be pregnant, and I will endure anything to get another healthy little baby, but I just have to whine just a little bit...

With Makenna, I was sick frequently (3 or 4 times per week), but it always came on suddenly, I puked and it was over. This time, I just feel nautious ALL the time. Between exhaustion, nausia and vomiting, I'm leaving poor dh with a lot of responsibilities (and not a lot of rewards - if you know what I mean). He's trying to help, but I can tell it is getting to him because I can't help as much with everything as I used to. I need to go eat lunch, but food is the LAST thing on my mind. I haven't kept supper or breakfast down. Uggggg!

Ok, rant over.

I'm so happy that I'm pregnant and I pray every day for a healthy, perfect little bean.

Whine away, that's what we're here for!

I know exactly what you mean though. Although the nausea has passed, I have SPD added on to extra-tiredness and DH has been left doing a lot more stuff around the house with little "reward" (oh, I know what you mean lol).

Oh, and you put a total craving into my head that I can't have...when I read "A little whine" I was thinking...oh yeah, a little WINE would be great!

I don't blame you for whining...I whined a lot in the first trimester and still whine. That's allowed. We know you are happy to be pregnant. Being pregnant is NOT easy though and hard on your body and psychie (sp?), even when you've never been through a loss but ESPECIALLY when you have.

You can "whine" to us whenever you need!

I felt the exact same way for so long. Now it is easing up but i still feel queasy most of the day and food is so unappetizing. Have you asked your doctor for any medication? Reglan and Zofran can be lifesavers. I don't think i would have eaten anything for 2 months if it hadn't been for them.

Hugs Sacha!!! Pregnancy can be really tough... This is just practice for DH for right after the baby arrives... you will need some extra help then too, and now he can really appriciate all the wonderful things you do for your family.

Hang in there

I miss wine too, but I really miss hard cider. To me, it's basically apple wine instead of grape wine. YUM.

I haven't been to my 1st appointment yet. It is next Tuesday. I will definitely request something. Last time I had phenergan (sp?) and it worked well for me... but I can already tell this pregnancy is very different. I will def talk to my midwife on Tuesday.

THanks, Sam. I just remember everything (except the worry) being fairly easy last time, but maybe I've just forgotten.

I hope it gets better for you! I know what you mean though, with my son I had NOTHING at all so dealing with morning sickness was hard for me (but worth it of course!)
