I love it and miss it terribly. We are on pelvic rest. We have been for most of my pregnancy though . It is fairly normal for us to not be allowed to DTD during pregnancy. At the very end when restrictions are lifted we sometimes will try to DTD but dang its hard when you are that big LOL and uncomfortable. Hope you find some positions that work for you.

It seems like all my intimate parts are tender. Between that and the belly, it is hard, but we still DTD at least 1x a week.

After what happened over the past two days, I'm pretty confident that there will be no more s-e-x happening around here for the rest of the pregnancy, or at least until 37 weeks.

Midwife put us on pelvic rest at the appointment on Tuesday. I have some blood pooling behind where the placenta is forming. I've been SOOOO ill for the last week and half that there wasn't anything happening anyway.

We do....sometimes but not too often. But if I'm not up to it (with SPD that's often!) I still try to make sure DH is "taken care of" (if you know what I mean ) lol

Ive been trying to get DH to DTD to try and convince this lil one to come out and he wont do it. Ever since my OB said she could feel Cole's head when she did a cervical check he said he just mentally cant do it right now. But up until now I would say we was intimate maybe like 1-3x a month throughout the pregnancy.

I don't think the quantity of sex decreased during pregnancy (every 2-3 days). After the birth was another story. We waited a long time (4-6 weeks?) and it still hurt like hell.

^That's something I'm curious about. Did you have a csection or a vaginal birth? What can we expect when we get back into these things? lol

I had a vaginal birth with some amount of tearing that I don't think was terrible. I know there's a scale, but I don't remember what I had. It was the interior area that hurt though, not the tear area. It's been a few years, but I remember that it hurt REALLY bad and I made my husband wait another two weeks to try again. We waited almost until the doctor recommended time, so I think the doctor said to wait 6 weeks and we tried at 5 or something like that.

Dr. told us to wait 6, we waited closer to 8, and it was a little uncomfortable, but not painful.

I still enjoy it, with this being our 6th pregnancy we are familiar with some decent positions for all stages of pregnancy.
