Hi! My name is Heather. I am 34 years old....and have two daughters that are 12 and 16 years old. I am remarried and my husband, Ray, does not have any children of his own. So, after 6 years, we decided to TTC. We had a loss on July 10th, and I was only 5 wks and 5 days. Since it was so early on and was natural, we decided to ttc again immediately. My husband is in the Navy and is currently on deployment. His ship pulled into Seattle and I flew up to see him, actually just wanting to be with him after the loss. But it turned out that I did actually ovulate while I was there and.....well, here I am. I am 10dpo today and got a super faint line this morning, but it actually got darker tonight and showed up within one minute, so that makes me happy! I am obviously VERY happy, but very cautious with my emotions as I am sure you can imagine. I had to start on antibiotics for a UTI, which only adds to my worry. I guess I am wondering when I will stop worrying. I know I will be testing like a maniac for the next few days, but I am just hoping for a sense of peace. Actually, I have a lot better feeling this time. Last time, I felt like something was wrong from the beginning. Strange how we have that sixth sense. I am hoping and praying to be able to stay here. Oh, grow baby, grow!!!!

(these are the tests that I took tonight at 8pm-10 DPO)

Welcome, Heather! PAL can be stressful. We are here for you. I had a UTI that required antibiotics with my dd. It freaked me out too. But, Makenna is here and beautiful and absolutely PERFECT. I'm now nearly 8 weeks pregnant with my next. Just saw the heartbeat this week, so that was huge.

So glad you have joined us.

Congrats! Hope to get to know you more.

PAL can really be stressful. The worry for me never really went away yet, but it has certainly decreased a WHOLE LOT!

Thanks guys! I can't wait to get to know all of you as well! Took another test this morning...didn't get any darker, but wasn't any lighter either. So, FX'd. I know that probably had to do with my hydration status because I am trying to drink, drink, drink with the uti. so, I have to remember that this early on that can really affect the test line and try not freak out!

Please do not freak out (well try not to) over the darkness of the hpt's. But then again who am I kidding, I tested 2x a day until 21 dpo when I ran out of tests!

Congratulations and Welcome to PAL!

Oh, sorry...I guess I didn't clarify that. He is in the Navy and on deployment. His ship pulled in there and I flew up to see him for the weekend! I guess I couldn't have had better timing
