Sorry I haven't been on much lately guys, I've been helping a friend with her business so I've been working outside of the home so to speak and haven't had much time to come on JM after my other responsibilities are taken care of!! I do read the posts but don't have a lot of time to respond right now, so please forgive me I've been a crafty lil momma lately though and wanted to share! I have a nursing cover from when I had my son but I wanted a girly one and didn't think it'd be that hard to make so I looked up a DIY pattern online, bought the fabric (and oddly enough found the same fabric that is used on my baby wrap I had made) and made one! I've also been making burp cloths (out of cloth diapers, just sewing fabric to the end) and today I made a TON of flower hairbows...not sure what I'll be doing next, kinda out of ideas! LOL here's my creations, hope everyone is doing well!

And here's me in the nursing cover, first time you guys will actually see ME! hehe

I love the nursing cover! I think I am going to attempt my own cloth wipes here soon, and you are giving me some courage... although the last time I sewed was in middle school home ec

Very nice! I wish I had talent like that. I'm thinking of trying to make DD some hair bows/flower clips, but I'm not sure if I can do it.

Aww thanks Missy

I don't know where this craft bug came from, I love crafts but usually have such a hard time figuring it all out on my own but I've been having good luck with doing all these! The nursing cover was super easy, 1 yd of fabric and some boning to keep the little window for you to look down on baby. The online patterns call for D rings, but I just sewed the neck strap in because I know where I like it.

They are so easy!!! I bought the flower petals at Hobby Lobby but you can get them online too, they are Petaloo Floradoodles. Then it's pretty easy to just layer it on top of each other and I got some rhinestone and pearl brads which made it easy to assemble instead of hot glueing. Then got alligator clips from Sally's and covered them with ribbon (learned here: Free! How to make hair bows! -- The Ribbon Retreat -- ribbons, hair bows, how to make korker bows with the mini clippie instructions but just didn't do the bow parts) then just hot glued the flowers to the clips!! Now I'm addicted and want to make more! lol
