I am seriously very nervous about having my beta re-checked today. I feel like all my preg. symptoms are gone. my bb's are def. not as sore I took another test and it seemed lighter than yesterdays. i just want to know at this point for peace of mind. i will definitely update everyone later. Could use some prayer from any praying moms...or positive thoughts from those who don't. I am trying my very hardest to remain positive.

I'm praying for you and your bean, too.

There's something called a hook effect where the HCG in your system is so high, it overwhelms the test line in a way and makes it appear lighter even tho the HCG would still be very much climbing at this point in time. That's why it's often recommended to stop testing when the test line begins to appear as dark as the control. All that to say, don't give up yet!

Don't forget too sometimes it's the fact there wasn't as much die in that stick. Sometimes after going through this we expect the worst and our mind messes with us. Keep your chin up. Praying for great results today.

If it makes you feel any better, my tests got lighter too (which is when I stopped testing). A week or so later I had an ultrasound with a heartbeat. And now I'm puking several times a day (which I'm taking to mean that everything is going well).
