Finally I got my numbers. Progesterone is 16.9 and hcg is 57 at 16 dpo. I am not sure how good this is it seems low to me.

I am really upset by this number. I know it should be higher then that. My Ob left me a message and said I need to get tested again to see if they are going up. I am going to call her and see when she wants to me to tests again.

Now I feel like I will be losing this baby.

When is your next test? I don't think the dpo matters as much as days past implantation, which is harder to figure out.

Don't start worrying yet! You could have implanted late. Hopefully your next draw will show a nice doubling time ((HUGS))

I don't think 57 is a bad number. Here's a chart I found:
* 3 weeks LMP: 5 - 50 mIU/ml
* 4 weeks LMP: 5 - 426 mIU/ml
* 5 weeks LMP: 18 - 7,340 mIU/ml
* 6 weeks LMP: 1,080 - 56,500 mIU/ml
* 7 - 8 weeks LMP: 7, 650 - 229,000 mIU/ml
* 9 - 12 weeks LMP: 25,700 - 288,000 mIU/ml
* 13 - 16 weeks LMP: 13,300 - 254,000 mIU/ml
* 17 - 24 weeks LMP: 4,060 - 165,400 mIU/ml
* 25 - 40 weeks LMP: 3,640 - 117,000 mIU/ml
* Non-pregnant females: <5.0 mIU/ml
* Postmenopausal females: <9.5 mIU/ml

I hope your next test shows beautifully doubling numbers!

I think that HCG number sounds fine. Its the doubling that is important. Don't worry yet.

Your number is good, and like everyone said it is the doubling time that matters. I would possibly ask about a progesterone supplement but other than that it looks good!

Ditto what everyone else said. You have enough HCG for a positive test. It is doubling that matters. Why do doctors give these numbers out when it just causes so much stress? I am glad mine didn't give me numbers and only did one blood test.

I agree with the other ladies: The number is fine. It's the doubling time and the fact that it continues to rise that are important. I know it's impossible, but don't stress too bad.

ditto everyone else ((HUGS)) Try not to worry about the number. The second one is more important. Your first one is just the starting point.

Thanks ladies. I am pretty down today though. I am getting my 2nd draw right now. So hopefully tomorrow I will know.

Also she said my progesterone is good. I am already using progesterone oil.

As everyone else said, the numbers aren't nearly as important as if they are going up and doubling every 48-72 hours. Good luck today!!

btw...this is what my first blood draw was:

4 weeks 0 days (14 DPO) 08/09/11
Progesterone: 23.7 (I am on supplements)
Quantitive HCG : 56.92

So my draw was only a couple DPO before yours. You could have def implanted a little later. I got my BFP at 10DPO.
