I wish heartburn was a sign of labor . If it was I would be set to go LOL. I have the worst heartburn tonight to the point I want to throw up .

Anyone else get it this bad?
What did you do to relieve it?

A tablespoon of honey in warm milk! I hate milk but I get horrible heartburn and that is the only thing that gives me relief.

I had it with DD pretty bad, it kept me up most nights for the last few weeks. I was prescribed Zantac but was afraid to take it,so I just used tums without much relief. I hope it either lets up or you have this baby!

I've gotten terrible heartburn with all of my pregnancies and it lasts up until delivery. I've tried Tums, Maalox, Zantac 150, and the regular GERD meds that I'm on every day. Sadly, none of it helps me a lot for the long term.

I'm sorry that it's bad for you. I get it during pregnancy but it's not been that bad.

Thanks ladies. Taking meds freaks me out so I will just tough it out. Only 3ish weeks to go.

I have heart burn SO bad. I have to try and find the triggers and then just avoid them at all costs. I have a bottle of tums by the side of my bed. I also sleep with pillows propping me up. Some days it is so bad I actually throw up...still no relief but I can't bear to think about taking the pills.

I had my OB write me a script because it was bad. My throat was burning, I wasn't able to eat, and this was with eating TUMS like candy. In the beginning tho eating vanilla ice cream helped. Still does something, but not often enough.

Thankfully it only happens a few days a week. I take zantac and it helps tremendously.
