Can you paint while pregnant? I need to touch up all the walls in the apartment and is it safe to paint?

I painted Erin and Patrick's room and the nursery all by myself while pregnant. Just make sure you've got a lot of ventilation. They also make low-fume paints too.

I agree with Brittanie! As long as you have ventilation you should be fine.

Yep what the other ladies said . Just ventilate and be careful. Don't do anything on a ladder.

We have lived here over 2 years and the bottom half of our walls are all scuffed up and nasty. I don't even need to get on a ladder, just the bottom 3 feet need to be painted.

I will wait a few more weeks when this rain stops and I can open all the doors and windows.

Thanks!

Unless your walls are white (and maybe even if they are), you might not be able to get away with painting only the bottom half. Paints fade. You'll probably see the line where you stop. Maybe this type of thing doesn't bother you, but it would annoy me, so I thought I'd mention it.

Thanks Courtney - They are actually worse - they are all off white. I live in an apartment and we are not allowed to paint the walls. The paint is an exact match - I tested the part of a wall the other day. The downside is all the walls are boring off white - the plus side easy to paint.
