So yesterday we went in for our NT ultrasound scan. It was great to see the baby. S/He was moving a TON. The u/s tech commented on how cute and wiggly s/he was. Of course the baby was rolling a lot and kept moving to the wrong positions for the tech to get the measurements. It just meant more time we could see the baby on the screen. S/He waved at us several times and even got the hiccups. I had no idea hiccups could happen so early. They drew my blood too. They have to send all the data off for analysis for them to plug everything into a formula to determine if I am high risk or not. They told me that they won't call or tell me anything unless something comes up abnormal. They told me I can always call and ask for the results for reassurance. They suggested I wait a week to call. I declined this test in the past and almost declined it again, but last week when it took a while for the midwife to find the heartbeat, I deicided I needed a nother look at this baby and the sooner the better. We are close to making the big announcment to coworkers and friends. Family all knows. It still just doesn't feel like the right time yet. I guess we will know when it is the right time. On Tuesday my percentage ticker will be 33%. That might be a good day. In about 6 weeks I get the anatomy scan and can also find out the gender of my lucky charm. My gut has me completely convinced it's a boy. The needle/thread/pencil test confirms that, but the chinese calendar says girl.

Your "lucky charm"....that's so cute!! It's always nice to get another look at baby!

I hate the "if you don't hear from us...". I'm never sure how long is long enough to "not hear".

Sounds like a good appointment and how cute that you got to see your baby hiccup! Figuring out when to tell people is always hard.

Melanie!!! I remember you. We were in TTC6M+ for a while too. I've checked Owen's page a few times, but hadn't seen any updates. I hope all is going well for him.

Congrats on the new bun in the oven. Are you hoping for a girl this time? It's so great to "see" you!!!!!!

Aww, thanks for keeping up on him...he's doing well overall, some 'relatively minor' issues that we still deal with, but overall great!!

Yes, we were in TTC6+ too, I had forgotten that part! lol This time was almost 1 year...wow, time flies!!

And we are definitely thinking pink this time!! Fingers, toes, and everything else possible crossed

So great to 'see you' too...everyone in here seems so wonderful!!
