So those that have given birth recently.
What are somethings you totally forgot about the process?
What about the week or 2 following giving birth?
What are you glad you forgot?

What are somethings you totally forgot about the process? How you really do lose track of time and people. I think they could have marched a marching band through my room and I would not have noticed a single thing And how darn exciting it is to be having a baby any moment. I kept forgetting what was happening and then I would remember "Hey...we are gonna meet him soon!"
What about the week or 2 following giving birth? OMG...the engorgement. Heaven help me if I had remembered how badly that hurt. Having big boobs to start and then having triple in size...whew. I actually felt ill they hurt so bad on day 4-6.
What are you glad you forgot? How intense pushing really is. And how overwhelming that feeling of love is after the baby is here. I am glad I forgot that because it made it so much more intense right then. I literally bawled.

I totally forgot how much it hurts .
I forgot how self conscious I am afterwards and how much I just want to sit around the house.
I am glad I forgot how painful it was .

Something I remembered the other day that I had forgotten - the burning pain while pushing! Oh isn't that such a lovely thought.
