Just DH. I thought about my Mother, but she stresses me out too much.

I'm planning a home birth. I'm planning on having my dh, my 8-year-old, and hopefully my older daughter if she isn't working and actually answers her phone. I'm also planning on having a friend who is a photographer there to take pictures.

If it was up to everyone else there would be about 20 people in there. Uggg.... I had to totally scale it back and say no to so many people. My boys are the only sane ones and don't want to be in there.

The scaled down list is: My DH, Muriel, Brenda, My mom and Dad. I spoke to my dad yesterday and he may not come due to a prior commitment. He was there when Kyle was born so he's seen all my parts. Honestly I am feeling anxious now that I am thinking of all those people there.

Just forget to tell them you've gone into labor.

Only DH
It was supposed to be that way with DD but my inlaws pushed there way in and that WILL not happen this time. They were not in the room during the acualy delivery but knowing they were right there waiting made me upset because I told my own mother she was not allowed to come and then took it upon them selfs to not listen and come anyway.

It was just DH. It was supposed to be him and my SIL...but Dawson ended up coming 2 days before she got back from vacation. It was nice being just DH though.

I honestly have no idea. Really...none what so ever. I have a SIL I would love to be there, but I can't even imagine the crap hitting the fan if my mom wasn't there and SIL was. SO, if my mom is in France when Marsi comes no problem. I will have to think about it if she comes at a time when my mom isn't in France. Both of them are about a 2 hour drive away.

They are coming in a few days early from all over - Florida, Virginia, Upper PA, Georgia... so they all know already. I am not sure what I was thinking Courtney - I should have made a spreadsheet.

Since it will be a c-section it will just be DH. I would love it if my mom could be there too but, rules are rules.

Since I'm having a c/s only 1 person is allowed and so that will be DH. With my son, I was going to have my mom in the room as well. My grandma and dad were both at the hospital and in the labor room too but they had both said ahead of time they would leave the room for delivery lol. I told them it didn't matter to me, I just didn't want my dad down by all the action! LOL

Both times it's been my mom and DH. Bc I was being induced this time I invited my MIL to be there (I wanted her to be able to experience it since she couldn't be there with DS1). She and my mom both live 9 hours away..my mom got there the night before but MIL got here about 5pm. We told her they'd just broken my water so she had plenty of time to stop by the apartment and see DS1 first..well..not so much. I had him at 6:02..she missed it by about 15 minutes. lol

Just my DH. I made a rule that no one is allowed at the hospital until we've had some bonding time with baby. It's easier that everyone else lives in different states, too

My boyfriend and my mom. I'm going to go NUTS with my mother in there though, she stresses me out so much but if i didn't let her in there i'd NEVER hear the end of it and she'd cry and annoy the hell out of me. She keeps trying to guilt trip me and say " ohhhhhh how i wish i could videotape it ". NO. lol It's not even happening yet and i'm already stressed out about thinking of her in the room lol! AND she's trying to invite her friends in there by saying ' well Donna would love to come ' lol it's really annoying and frustrating. Can you tell she stresses me out?!

I am going to talk to the dr tomorrow about policies. It is supposed to be DF and myself which is all I want there for laboring but I am starting to feel like I want dd there for the pushing so she can meet her baby right along with us. By doing this I would also want my friend in the room to, which would work cause I want pictures too.
