It's been more than 10 years....but my OB had me taking baby aspirin when I was pregnant with dd2 because of the two losses before her. I haven't been able to see a dr. yet (4 wks 3 days) and I am not sure if I should take it....I am assuming I should since I did with my last pregnancy and she stuck.

Anyone else taking baby aspirin or anyone with advice for or against?

I took a baby aspirin a day with this pregnancy. It is the only one that stuck so I am SOLD on taking a baby aspirin a day from the time I start cycling again after this baby comes. My OB before my midwife told me to take it. My suggestion, if you took it last pregnancy, take it this pregnancy. It won't hurt anything.

I agree. I don't think it can hurt. And if it helps or even makes you feel better go for it.

I took a baby aspirin every day until I hit the 36 week mark. I had two losses before this, and even though I didn't have testing done, clotting problems run in my family, so I decided to take it. My original OB and my midwives weren't for or against it.

I've been taking baby aspirin since I started seeing my RE in April. Now that I'm in my second trimester my high risk dr, OB, and Cardiologist want me to come off of it, but I'm afraid. So far I'm going against their wishes. Who knew an 81mg baby sized pill could have so much power over me.

I would do it if it helped before. I am taking it as well...after 2 losses and I am at 12 weeks on Tues. I do have dx blood clotting disorders though.

Add me to the masses with a blood clotting disorder. Three losses and then the baby aspirin and so far so good. I haven't even asked when/if I'm supposed to stop taking it. I have no desire to stop. I think I'd be scared too. It's been working for me and I pray it keeps working. If you were told to take it last time I would definitely take it this time too for sure.

I dont see what it would hurt. Before my DR found out about my clotting issue he said I should go ahead and take it.

I also had taken it from BFP to 14wks, then started again at 20wks until 36wks. I had blood flow issues at my 20wk scan, and the aspirin corrected it. I would just let your dr. know your taking it again.

I agree with the other ladies. I don't think it will harm anything, just let your doctor know you are taking it.

You add me to the list. I am taking Baby Aspirin everyday. My high risk Ob doctor told me to take it. I don't see where it can hurt.

I took baby aspirin with all of my pregnancies and only the last one stuck (I took it until I was 34 weeks pregnant) I think it works for some people but it certainly doesn't hurt to take it even if it's not needed, so I say take it!
