at work!
The microwave is right down from my office and the smells are about to kill me.
I'm still keeping this pregnancy a secret so I don't know what I can do!
I can't close my door- frowned on, if I let them know it's because of the smells it would probably be fine, but I really want to wait till the end of the month!

Blech!! it smells like burnt spaghetti sauce.

I am going through the same thing. Everbodies lunch stinks so bad and the smells are making me terribly sick. A gas mask does sound like a really good idea right now. I'm thinking of buying a bunch of candles and burning them during lunch time, although those may make me sick also..lol.

You can just say that you're hypersensitive to smells. That is a thing, even outside of pregnancy. I don't know the medical term for it.

I am happy I don't have to deal with people's lunch. The different smells would make me sick.

I could go with the hyper sensitive to smells but, only the food smells bother me. I can deal with people lotions and stuff. Which makes it harder to keep it from being pregnancy related-suspect.

I can't light candles or have air fresheners- it's a scent free building (except for the stupid microwave!)

I would just say that you have been feeling sick and that you are super sensitive to smells right now. You don't have to say that you are pregnant, just a bug or something.

I'm sorry, that definitely would have sent me to the toilet for my first few months. I hope you figure something out.

What if you said you've been having a lot of headaches (you could blame sinus issues) and want to keep the noise down? I hope you think of something!

blech i struggle with this too...if there's a scent you like (or can stand) i've grabbed like a hand held size of it and just hold it near my nose. Food smells are the worst...and if you're not telling them until end of month, you'll definitely give it away if you're gagging walking down the hall
