Why did I want to go and get betas? I went from calm, relaxed, and having a good feeling about this pregnancy to freaking out and balling my eyes out!

My number for yesterday at 4 weeks and 1 day was 40. Is this good? This is so low that I am now panicing. I should have never asked my friend to do it. Now I have to wait until next Wednesday for her to do it again. A whole week of panic and worry!

I barely got my BFP on Monday, and it was super light, but still!! Ladies I am so scared! I waited too long for this to happen to me again.

sounds well within normal range for 4w...try not to worry, whether the # is doubling is more important than the absolute # itself. HUGS when is your next draw?

Literally not until next Wednesday. I am just so scared now. I should have just waited.

At 4 weeks? At least that gives me a little hope.

40 sounds like a good number for 4 weeks! Don't freak out. It's not about how high they are but that they are doubling ok.

I agree with the other ladies. Its not how high your number is. It's how the numbers double. I am sorry you have to wait until next week to get another blood draw.

Sorry you are worried. That is why I didn't do betas with my last pregnancy. My first one with one of my pregnancies was 48 at 4.5 weeks. So 40 sounds ok to me.

Thanks ladies. I just hate worrying about anything. I went from so calm (which is very unlike me) to back to my crazy self. I wish I did not have to wait so long, but if it is free I cannot complain.

With Moose, my numbers were low and they said I would miscarry. I didn't obviously. Numbers aren't everything. It is part of the reason I didn't get betas done with Finn though. I was worrying enough without making it worse for myself. Hope your numbers do what they should!

I agree with everyone else. I hope the next week goes by fast for you and your number is sky high so you can relax a little.

Your number looks good to me Lindsey. As long as it increases, I don't think it really matters where it starts.

I agree with the ones that said that it's more important that the #'s double. Also, your just now due for your period to start. I'd say that 40 is a great starting point for where you are in your pregnancy!!

Thanks ladies. I had only told my sister about it when I found out, only because she straight up asked me. I was kind of shocked. Anyway, I guess my BIL decided to annouce it to my dad and step mom who are in town (she works in a lab). When I told her my number she was going off about how extremely low it was and not to get my hopes up. Just what I needed to hear when I am freaked out about it already. I am kind of upset that my BIL would annouce that too to everyone. My sister was furious.

At 13dpo (I charted) mine was only a 28! I think that was 3w5d for me? I cant remember.....but it more than tripled by 15dpo....101. I had written the pg off at the first draw, as my last baby at 13dpo was over 100 at that point and she was healthy. Well, here Iam, 38wks pg.....and she's healthy!

Sorry about your family freaking out, but lets face it, their not dr's, and should keep their mouth shut!

It sounds like there's nothing to worry about yet, but easier said than done I know. I'll be praying for a truly fantastic number at your next draw to set your mind at ease.

I also hope that when you're ready you'll join us in the June DDC!

I agree with the other ladies that 40 sounds like a good number. I know it's hard not to worry but try. Maybe having a week without getting them will help ease your mind so your not stressing over numbers every other day. ((HUGS))
