Sorry it took so long to get on here. Well to begin.. I was getting induced oct 11th. I woke up that morning at 5 am with blood and cramps! Lol he waited till the induction date to want to arrive. I still went down to the hospital, they broke my water at 9:36am, and by 12:30 i had the epidural Lol, i was still only 2cms at 12:30 , then at 3:30 i was 5 cms. He was facing up so they had me go on my hands and knees to turn him. I'm guessing that the whole hands and knees thing worked because i felt like I had to pee super bad and felt like i was peeing! it was blood coming out though. I went to the bathroom and i felt like i had to push. by 4:30 i was at 10 cms and started to push, i had him at 4:59. Barley a half an hour of pushing. Thank god because he was 9 pounds!! Way bigger then anyone had thought. I must have been all baby. Anyways.. I hemmoraged after giving birth and lost half my blood. They wanted to keep me 3 days but i left after 2 days. I'm at home now and feel like CRAP. I get super dizzy all the time and i am whiter then a ghost because i have barley any blood. It was all worth it to see my little man though. Labor over all wasn't that bad. He's lost weight since then and is now 8pnds, 6 oz. He's sooo adorable I love him to pieces! The whole labor only took 7 hours which is pretty good for a first baby i'd say! and pushing out a 9 pounder in under a half an hr! Great job to me!

Take care with all that blood loss. That happened to me after I had my son and I passed out as I was walking to the crib to take him out. If it gets worse, call your doctor.

On the other hand, congrats!! Great job too on the pushing! For my first, I pushed over 3 hours. I cannot wait to see pics of the baby!

Congratulations on your little "big" boy! I bled like that last year while having Mia, they were never able to find the source of the bleed. It was scary though! Great job on pushing! Your body is a pro already!

CONGRATS.
Great job on the 30 mins of pushing.
I pushed 2 hours with DD and they told me it was to long so they cut me and vacummed her out. I now know that was not true and my dr just wanted to go home I told this to my nw DR and he said they will not put my labor on a clock. Anyway sorry to vent in your great post..lol
Blood loss like that is scary try to rest up and lay in bed and just enjoy that baby.

Congrats on your little big guy! I can't wait to see some pictures.

You were right- looks like I did beat you to the punch after all with labor. Talan weighed the same as my Lucia! I also hemorrhaged after and only over the past couple of days have I started to feel a little better (after doubling up on my iron dose since last Thursday). I hope you are feeling better soon, too.
