That's what my contractions feel like in the beginning. I say start timing them.

I got up and walked around. The cramping calmed down. Maybe this will mean an easier labor than with the boys.

I am cramping... On a scale of 1-10 it is a 5 pain level. I thought it may be gas but that is not it. It isn't contractions as it is constant. It's like a more painful version of AF cramping and reaching into my back at times.

I never had cramping with any of the boys but then again this pregnancy has been different right from the start.

I know..... call the doctor, lol.

Anyone go through this towards the end of your pregnancy?

I remember thinking that the initial contractions felt like cramps to me. It's been a while though.

Some practice contractions are normal at this point! If they get regular then that could signal labor.
When was your last appt?

I had cramping the few hours after my membranes where swept and my water broke. It could be the start . Mine did calm down before labor but I went from 1.5 to 5 in those hours . Good luck.

Thanks girls! I have a NST and Ultrasound tomorrow so if the contractions are showing up stronger maybe I will have them check.

As much as physically my body is saying "girl, your tired old bones are done with this" I know it is better for me to tough it out and have Scarlett bake a little longer
