Today my husband was at work and one of his staff gave him 4 boxes of baby clothes and supplies. He said there is a bottle warmer, baby lotion and tons of girl clothes.

I am very overwhelmed and grateful as I know how they dress thier daughters and I can't wait to dig through the boxes!!

How do I say Thank you? It seems like a Thank you note is just not enough.

Maybe a thank you card with a nice candle or cookies or something homemade. A cake, dinner, something like that. That was very nice of them.

I say food, or if you know that they drink a nice bottle of wine. Food is always an easy thank you though.

I would write a heartfelt thank you message in a card. Then you could fill in any empty space with the words "thank you" written over and over again in various directions/sizes. And a cookie would be nice.

Aww Missy that is wonderful! How thoughtful of them to give them to you guys. I agree with writing them a heartfelt card as well as giving them some cookies or even some brownies You will have to post some pictures of the cute things you find in those boxes!

You should get a pirate card that says "Thanks for all the loot!"

That is wonderful Missy. I agree a hearfilled card would be nice. A bottle of wine or a gift card to a nice restaurant.

I agree with Katie. You will have to post some pictures after you go through the boxes.

You girls rock!! I can't totally do the food thing as they live 1,000 miles away and stuff spoils but here is what I am thinking now.

- I will make a pirate Thank you card (I have the stickers) with the loot idea
- I will make a few different kinds of home made fudge (it travels easier than cookies)
- I will make them 2 candles - 1 with each of their girls names on them

What do you think?

The candles will be decorative like these I have made in the past.

I think that is a great idea Missy. They will love the candles. I forgot you make candles. You could also make a frame with their girls name on it.
