I had my appt today Everything went pretty well. HB was 140...she couldn't get it on the doppler bc the placenta is on the front so I got another ultrasound.

She tried to look for gender but was not 100% sure...she thinks the baby may be a boy! We shall see on November 30 at my 20 week scan.

I did the quad screen (blood test) today. Not sure when I will get my results.

I also had to go to the hospital for an EKG. I have been having heart palpitations for a little over a week now. They are getting a little better but I sometimes I get them several times a minute.

Sounds like a good appointment!

I had heart palpitations, too. I went to the ER and they tested my blood. Turns out my magnesium and potassium were a little low so they replenished them and they went away. Did they test for that?

I hope they go away soon. They're disconcerting but usually not harmful.

No I don't think they tested for that but it would not surprise me if my potassium/magnesium was low. They did run an extra couple of blood tests with my quad screen...I think one of them was an iron test.

They scheduled me to have an echocardiogram next Thursday at 10 a.m. I guess I will know more then.
