Okay guys I am just freaking exhausted 24/7. I feel I can't do anything! my housework and mine and DH sex life is really hurting from it. Boo.

Anyone have any tips on how to get some energy back? Or is it a waiting game till the 2nd trimester?

I just want to feel normal! Haha

I've always just had to wait it out. Nap when you can, try to get to bed earlier than normal.

I feel like a bus hit me 24/7, so I doubt I am of any help. I never felt so bad with any of my other pregnancies, so this is all new to me. I have developed a new symptom too- migraines.

You pretty much just have to wait it out... the good news though is in the 2nd trimester you should start feeling better and have some renewed energy.

Lindsey - I am sorry to hear about the migraines. What are they doing to help you with them?

You will get some of your energy back in the second trimester. I'm not back to 100% of what I was pre pregnancy but it's tons better than sitting on the couch all day because I literally was too tired to do anything.

Hang in there!!!

I am still pretty tired but not as bad as it was.
I hate to tell you but what you are feeling is NOTHING compared to what its going to feel like when baby gets here..lol I remember feeling like a zombie for about 6 months.
Enjoy being able to grab a nap if and when you can right now.

Lol. Lindsey I was thinking that too. I think this is our bodies way of preparing us for sleepless nights. Both of my kids did not sleep through the night until they were 3 years old. I hope this one is different! Lol. I do remember not having any time for anything though after the babies were here.

Missy, nothing so far for the migranes. I am beginning to think that my blood sugar is dropping though, because I ate a sugar cookie yesterday and instantly felt better. My throbbing headache disappeared. I might buy a meter and check my blood sugar daily just in case.

I agree with the other ladies. I am 16 weeks and I just started to feel a little bit better.
