So, I was wondering what do you girls do for a living?
I work at a University as an Academic Coordinator. Last year I was a SAHM, and for the most part I loved it.

i am a photographer (Weddings and high school seniors). It allowed me to be a WAHM because I only really have to work nights and weekends when Dh or a grandma can be with Maidson.

I used to be an 8th grade Science teacher. This year, I thought I was going to be a SAHM but when DH got his PhD he became unemployed and I returned to work as a substitute. He has an interview on Thursday of this week so hopefully I will be a SAHM soon.

I work as a Patient Care Assitant in the Medical/Oncology unit at the hospital... It's a tiring, hard, physically and mentally taxing job. I wish I could find something less stressful. I only work 2, 12 hour shifts a week but those 12 hours kill me.
DH and I are both college students. Both going to nursing school.

I am a SAHM. DH is a structural designer/drafter. He was out of work for almost a year and I was working at the county back in Las Vegas. Then the government even went south there and luckily we found DH a job here in Texas.

I am currently a SAHM. Before that (up until the end of August before Kieran was born) I was an in-home nanny. I had watched Julia since she was 2 weeks old and she went to kindergarden in August. It was a really great job because I was able to finish my degree as an Addictions Counselor and I got lots of practice for having kids of my own. I have briefly worked in the addictions field at a center that treated pregnant addicts. I have plans to return to that type of work after the kids head to school.
DH is a CFO at a non-profit (think United Way on a smaller scale).

I've been a SAHM for the last 3 years, and I was a radiologic technologist before my son was born ( I still am registered, and keep up my continuing education). My DH is a mechanical engineer.

I am a SAHM in practice. Before that I was a office manager for a non profit company. Things changed and the stress got to be to bad. I was getting sick from the stress and not sleeping so dh told me to leave. I think the stress played a part in the last loss we had. I make crafts and sale them at craft shows. Dh is a iron worker in the union.

I hear ya! The University that I work for its a State university and I just got done with the most stressful part of the part which is Mid-year budget. Just remember to seat, breath and smile.
WOW, I'm surprise of the variety of professions we have here. For those of you that are SAHM, you are my heroes. I did it for a year and it was the hardest job there is.

I am a Technical Support Specialist for Water Quality and Remediation products - I do not do IT (I am almost clueless when it comes to IT...lol), I do training (in house and customer) for our products, troubleshooting, and some new product apps. We manufacture and distribute products for testing water and soil (and other matrices) for contaminants...I LOVE it!
