What is something that you didn't know or forgot that you wish someone would have told you about pregnancy?

For our experienced mommies what advice would you give on Pregnancy After Loss?

What is something that you didn't know or forgot that you wish someone would have told you about pregnancy? 1) just because none of your older female relatives ever had issues with morning sickness, doesn't mean you are guaranteed good pregnancies 2) making it past 12 weeks isn't a guarantee, even with all the advances in medicine in the last 30 - 50 years.

For our experienced mommies what advice would you give on Pregnancy After Loss? It's okay if you have to "forget" you're pregnant to survive emotionally. It's okay not to be always overjoyed and excited. And don't forget that sometimes you have to just breathe.

The only thing that I was really surprised about was the Group B strep swab. I guess they didnt do it when I was preg with the older ones.... I had NO idea that it wasnt a simple vag swap, but a butt violation as well!! Let me tell you, I was absolutely shocked, and no one told me! (Its really not that bad, unless its unexpected, and then its a tad concerning!)
