Well it's been a while since I've been on JM, not because I haven't wanted to, but using my phone to get on is really a pain & I just got a new computer, so I hope to be on more now...
I am really confused and am hoping you all could help me... I was at the doctor on Monday & as part of the process they did a pregnancy test which was negative. At that point I was only two days late, so I didn't think much about it, but I am never 3 days late, so I took one at home last night. The test line was visible even before the control line. Just in case though, I took another this morning & it too was positive- I then went to the doctor again & they took two tests & both were negative.
I am so confused! They ordered qualitative and quantitative hCG blood work, but am very nervous! Could the fact that I drank about 40 oz of water before they took the test there be the reason?
I am so excited to have gotten a BFP and really don't want it to have been wrong
What do you think?
Thank you Katie (.:Shortcake:.) for my beautiful siggy!!
The doctor's office tests are awful. I was told a couple of weeks ago that mine was basically negative even though the FRER I took at home were super positive. I had HCG betas drawn that same day that came back at 148.

I've heard that most of the urine tests they use at doctor's office are only sensitive for hcg of 100 or even higher. So it's possible that a combination of the water and their tests could be making the urine come back negative there.
