I was just wondering whether your OB's waited until you were 6 weeks along to prescribe you progesterone? I talked to the APRN at my OB's office & she said they don't tell you to take it till 6 weeks, but if I am remebering correctly, last time my OB prescribed it right when I found out, which was about 4 weeks...
Should I demand to get it already if she wants to wait?
Thank you Katie (.:Shortcake:.) for my beautiful siggy!!
My doctor actually had me start it 3 days after I ovulated, with instructions to stop it if AF came, or stay on it through week 9 if I got a BFP. In the past, I've had trouble with starting/maintaining a heart beat and usually miscarry by week 8. His hope is that the extra progesterone will give us the support we need to carry us until the placenta takes over.
My dr prescribed me to take it 3 days after ovulation. Since I wasn't actually trying this time, I started taking it the moment I found out I was pregnant. If I waited until 6 weeks, I would lose the baby....
