Yesterday morning my contractions were coming every 3 minutes and thankfully with some hydration and lots of fluids they seem to have slowed down. They are coming maybe 1 to 3 an hour now and not as strong as they were. the dr. should hopefully be in soon to check my cervix again and give us an idea of when we can go home. My cervix was 3 cm dialted yesterday so we are praying that it has not changed any. Dr. gave me steroid shots for baby's lungs and lots of antibiotic to help with any infection if he does come early. The dr did say that if he came early he had a 98% chance of no problems at all other than being on a ventialtor for a week or so. Although we are continuing to pray that he stays put for a few more weeks.

Thanks to everyone for all your prayers. I'll let you know what the dr says.

Update 3/17
sorry it has taken me so long to update. I am finally home from the hospital. The on call dr released us yesterday around 3:00 but then I started feeling really nauseas and started throwing up again. The nurse decided to call my OBGYN to see about getting some zofran since that seems to be the only thing that would help with my nausea. My dr obviously did not know what was going on with me. I guess the dr on call didn't tell him that I had been 3 cm dialted. So my dr came over to the hospital immediately which is why I love him so much. He got me some zofran which almost immediately helped with the nausea. He checked me again and I was still only dialted 3 cm which was a good thing. I contracted for about 24 hours having them every 3 to 5 minutes and my dr said it was a good thing sign that I had not dialated anymore. He did release me and send me home for bed rest. He wants me on strict bed rest until Monday and then he said I could go to work for just a few hours each day and only if I promised to only sit at my desk and take care of paper work. No more court for me until after the baby gets here. My goal right now is to make it to Friday. I see my dr again on Friday so he will re-evaluate the situation and we will go from there. Just praying now that baby boy decides that it is not a good time to make an appearance for a few more weeks. My dr did say that some women can walk around 3 cm dialted for weeks so I could still make it to the end of April which would be wonderful. Thanks to all of you wonderful ladies for all your prayers. I truly believe that prayer works.

Melissa I am so glad that they got your contractions slowed down. I hope there is no change in your dilation and that baby stays put for a few more weeks. I know that has to be so scary for you. I'll be watching for your update!

I hope you are contraction go away completely at least for a couple more weeks and that you are not dilated more than what you already are. How scary, but I am glad to know that if he does come early that everything will be ok.

I am so glad that you were able to update us! And that things are looking up for that baby to cook some more! I will pray that he doesn't come for a few more weeks!

On a side note, my sister had her daughter at just shy of 32 weeks, she had the steroid shots to improve lung development before hand and low and behold, my niece was on oxygen for 8 hours! And she is a healthy and vibrant 3.5 year old now

I was 3cm for 3 weeks with my daughter, so I know it can happen. They stopped my labor, and I was able to go full term. Rest, relax, and definately KUP on anything else.
