Had my appt this morning

She could tell from the ultrasound that she is lower down in my pelvis which was exciting. I figured she was since I am having a lot more pressure in my pelvic area and butt lol. My fluid level was 12 so very good...placenta still looks fine too.

Also she was already measuring at 39/40 weeks (and 7lbs 14 oz!) but the doctor thinks it is probably off due to how she is laying. Our son was 8 lbs 4 oz at birth. I think she will probably be somewhat close to that. I definitely don't think she is already almost 8 lbs though.

I got my first cervical check and my cervix is already anterior (towards the front). I am only a fingertip dialated but she said my cervix is VERY soft and can feel her head right behind it.

Hearing all that makes me feel pretty good about going into labor on my own this time or if not, having a successful induction and achieving a VBAC! Our son never dropped down into my pelvis very good and I never had a soft cervix...and didn't even get a fingertip dialated until I was past 41 weeks.

I've been taking evening primrose oil for the last two weeks orally. I think tonight I will switch to vaginally or take 1 orally and two vaginally.

A lot of ladies in my group did EPO. Worked for some. I did red raspberry leaf tea, which helps make contractions work better. I did it for a week, then ate pineapple for 2 days, then went into labor. LOL

Can you believe you're so close now?? I'm excited for you!

Awesome!

I did RRLT, EPO, and ate whole pineapples with my pregnancy with our son...my body just was not ready though so it didn't really do crap for me.

This time I started drinking RRLT earlier at 32 weeks and started the EPO at 34 weeks. I didn't wait until I was term this time because I was afraid it wouldn't have enough time to work.

The RRLT I drank with our son was absolutely awful...tasted like freakin cardboard!!! I am drinking a brand called yogi this time and there is such a big difference...it actually is good! I have been slacking on drinking it the last couple of days though. I need to start drinking a few glasses a day now.

I am glad the natural induction methods you tried worked for you!

I feel like I will go on my own before my dd this time...who knows though haha.
