Well I started to spot today, so instead of waiting for Wed's bw, I decided to head to the er. I was not very optomistic as my 3 beta was a doubling rate of 60hrs, after my first two betas were doubling at 31.5hrs. We did u/s first and lo and behold, there was a beautiful sac in the right place, measuring 5w1d.(I was shocked to say the least, Im only 4w5d today and thought for sure it would be smaller or not there at all) HCG levels from my 3rd to the 4th were at a nice 38hr double rate!!

12dpo: 65hcg 57progesterone
14dpo: 187 hcg 51 progesterone(doubling rate of 31hrs)
16dpo: 338 hcg (doubling rate of 60hrs)
19dpo: 1320 hcg(doubling rate of 38hrs!)
20dpo: tomorrow morning with progesterone results 2395 hcg and 54.1 progesterone. 12hrs from the 19dpo draw! Dr. used his labs of 14dpo and 20dpo for progession, 39hr double rate! I will be doing an elective viability scan next week, because he did not order one.....he wants to just do his scan at my 8wk appt, and I cant wait that long!

I spotted like this with my last two girls, at the same exact gestation, until wk 6. I guess history is repeating itself! Im not even worried about the spotting, since it seems to be normal for me, just wish I did not have it at all!

I know Im not out of the woods yet, but this was a wonderful surprise!

Congrats, I hope everything continues to go awesome for you and maybe the spotting will stop. But if you think it's normal for you -the less stress the better.

Maybe the discrepancy was just from it being two different labs.

Glad everything is going well! I think it's nuts that a different lab could make such a difference, but either way I'm glad your little one is growing fast!

I'm so happy for you! Glad that the numbers are good and that you got to see something on the u/s. With this one I started spotting the same time than with DS, even if it's normal for you, it's still a bit scary.
