For the last 2 weeks... I've been waking up every 2 hours on the dot. It's so annoying. I'll like wake up, go to the bathroom, stay up for like 15 minutes and fall back asleep!

This is seriously so annoying... It has happened every night for the last week. I feel I'm never gonna sleep again. I wasn't expecting this till Ava was born. I've tried everything... A bath before bed, a fan, cutting back fluids etc.

Anyone else go through this? Suggestions to help sleep?

I'm no help. I've been doing this for the past week and I'm only 8 weeks. I wasn't expecting it until the 3rd trimester.

The past few days I have been having serious insomnia too - I have to stay up until I am absolutely exhausted to crash. I end up waking up to use the restroom or turn over and then without fail I am up for about 3-4 hours at night .

I am not sure what to do to help myself.

From past pg, there is nothing. I use to joke with my OB that nothing was on TV after 11pm (before comcast on demand). We use to compare late night movies since both of us were up. I use to believe it was our body's way of preparing us for not sleeping when the baby came. However all of my babies slept from day 1 through the night so I figured they got it out of their system during last trimester. Maybe you'll get lucky too

Have you try exercise? I know I sleep much better when I work out for about 30 min, 1.5-2 hrs before I go to bed. Are you worry about anything?

I don't miss that. I had it with both boys. Mine peaked around 20 weeks...but was present from about 13 weeks until 30 weeks. It sucked.

I am pretty sure it is hormonal. And there is not much you can do to prevent it. I tried everything and it never really helped. I just waited it out and eventually it went away.

It didn't prepare me at all for sleeplessness with babies. Lol. I still struggle with that.

I have it. I try to go to bed somewhat early so even waking up every couple of hours I squeeze some in there. I guess sleep will come when both kids are grown.

I have it bad right now. The other night I woke up at 3am and just laid awake for another 3 hours before I fell asleep again. It was annoying because I was literally wide awake! I conteplated getting up, but seeing how it was the weekend, I knew that if I did not fall back asleep, it wasn't going to happen later.
