I had my 12 week appt today. Baby is doing great! We were able to find the heartbeat on the doppler for the first time! I announced the news on FB today too Surgery to remove my cervical polyp is scheduled for Friday, May 4th at 8am. I am nervous about it, but also VERY ready to put that part of my pregnancy behind me! She is 90% sure she will be able to do the removal in-office. However, if she looks and decides that it is going to be a more complex procedure, then she will book an OR at the hospital, which is right down the street. DH is taking the day off from work so that he can take care of Josiah and I can take it easy, since I will probably be slightly crampy and sore afterwards. I was nervous about maybe having to have shots down there for the procedure, but she said there won't be any pain medication necessary, except some ibuprofen afterwards.

I'm glad to hear you are through with the scariest part of pregnancy (well unless you count labor lol) and also good luck with the polyp being removed.

Good luck with the procedure. Is there any prep that you need to do?
