My husband got a job up in Idaho Falls ID. We currently like near Salt Lake City UT. We are supposed to be moving on April 23rd! YIKES! I am thinking of going up with him then and finding a place to live, then coming back down with Peter and pack everything up and bring it up there.
I am super stressed. Trying to come up with the money for a deposit and first month's rent, as well as the money to break our current lease. It will be stressful finding a place up there that we can like for a whole year at the least. And doesn't get me started on the stress of dealing with a one year old and trying to pack and move an entire apartment AND storage unit! AAAAHHHHH!
The worst thing about this, is that my husband will be gone for at least a week at a time with his new job. I will miss him, and it will be infinitely harder to get pregnant with an absent husband! Blech!
Pregnancy Loss April 2009, September 2010 CP 10/2008, 1/3/11 {missing my babies every single day}Mommy to 4 Children - 3 boys ages 21, 20 and 17 & baby Scarlett
After 2.5 years TTC with 4 losses our Family was given the gift of Miss Scarlett.
Do not ever give up hope...
Yep, he got a job that pays about $10,000/year more, we can also get a decent sized house, with a yard and a garage for some price as our tiny 2bdrm apartment here!
That is great about the new, better job! Yay! But it's a bummer that we won't get to have our playdate with Rebecca and the kids this summer, huh?
We also live right here, so if you need anything we are here too!

Our rainbow baby Brynlee Sue was born August 17th after four heartbreaking loses! Life is an amazing journey. Hang on, keep your faith and try to always move forward!
I'm so happy about your DH's new job, but I know the moving part will stink! I'm always so amazed by the kindness the ladies on JM have for each other! I would offer to help but I live in New England... I hope you find something perfect for your family

Wow, big changes for your family!! I hope you love Idaho! I think it is a beautiful state Good luck with the move. We moved when Josiah was a year old, and we ended up hiring a moving company that essentially just sent the guys out to be the muscle power to load the truck... if you do that instead of the type where they are driving for you, it is actually very cost effective. It was a HUGE help when we moved! I think it is so wonderful that there are several ladies who live close to you and would be willing to help you out... take them up on it!! Thinking of you!

When we moved from Las Vegas to Texas, we had our church help us load up our 26ft uhaul. It was loaded in less than an hour! Hopefully you can get some help with everything and settle in easily.
Other than that, congrats on your hubby's job! We were actually looking up in SLC before DH was offered a job in Houston, which is only 2.5 hours from my family in Louisiana. I also love Idaho, it is so pretty up there!

Congrats on the new job! I hate moving....I had to move me and DS out of our house last year, it was very stressful, and if you work, it gets even worse. Good luck with the move, I hope it all goes well, and it seems like you have some ladies that are willing to help you out.
