Sorry I have been missing. I have been having trouble with my blood pressure. I have ended up in labor delivery couple of times. We had a ultrasound yesterday. Cody is butt down with his head under my right ribs. We decided to go ahead and scheduled a c-section instead of them trying to turn him. The c-section is scheduled for May 15th in the morning. Cody is measuring two weeks ahead and 7lbs 4ozs. We also had our 36 week 6 day appointment. Cody is looking good. I have to do NST scans twice a week with my weekly ob appointments. Cody did good yesterday on the NST scan. Mommy flunked. My blood pressure was high. High140's over high 90's. They did another round of blood work which came back good. Urine sample is now showing a trace of protein. I am on bed rest until we deliver.
I can't believe in 2 weeks we will be holding our little boy. It still seems like a dream. I hope the next two weeks go by fat.
Wow! Just two weeks! That is amazing! That's actually the day before my birthday, so it's a great time to be born! I hope you get to have a peaceful next couple of weeks and don't end up back in L&D!
Cody is in the same position DS was. I was asked f I wanted them to try to turn him, they did say that they could try but that I could end up with an emergency c-section, so opted for the c-section. After saying this, my mom told me I was in the same position I was turned successfully. Either way, no point of risking it.
I'm happy that in 2 weeks you will be holding your baby, I'm so excited for you!!!!!!
Wow two weeks! I am surprised that they are not doign it sooner though because of the blood pressure issues. You are considered full term now. Still, eek!! How exciting!!

How exciting! Time is going to stand still for you until delivery day I am also surprised they didn't schedule it sooner, but I'm sure the bed rest has something to do with it. The longer he stays cooking the better
Sorry about the blood pressure. It stinks to be on bed rest BTDT. Hopefully you have tons of read/do. It's great that you have an end date in sight.
As for why they don't do it earlier, I know my hospital will not allow earlier than 38 in case your dates are off. Anything earlier than 38, lungs may not be developed and they'd rather not chance it until medically necessary.

My doctors won't do anything before 38 weeks. I have one more week until I reach that. When i have my appointment anfpd NST scans the week I am 38 weeks i am going to have everything packed and ready.
My BP snuck up at the end with Josiah's pregnancy too. I hope the next two weeks go quickly for you!! So excited for you to hold that little man in your arms!
