Not super useful, but about a year ago it finally clicked that because I use a potato ricer to make mashed potatoes, I don't have to peel them before boiling. That was nice to figure out, I hate peeling veggies.

I am with Patty, DH Or the microwave, bahahahha! No really, if we are having chicken and it needs to be cooked faster, I will slice it and cook it in a little water on the stovetop, rather than baking it in the oven, cooks faster and stays really moist!
