I'll be 9 weeks and we're going in for our first ultrasound. So far everything is great... I've had nice strong symptoms - still nauseated a lot, boobs are still really sore, still tired (although that's getting a little better). I haven't had even a hint of spotting or even any thing stronger than very, very mild cramping. I've felt bloated and even think I had a little RLP over the weekend.
But I'm terrified... I'm taking the day off work because I know I won't be able to concentrate on anything. I'm so scared that we're going to go tomorrow and see the same thing we've seen in our last two pregnancies - a baby that has stopped growing and has no heartbeat. It happened with both of them between 8 and 9 weeks, according to their sizes.
I'd really appreciate all of the positive thoughts and energy that y'all could send our way!!
**UPDATE**
So I thought the morning would drag on forever but we finally got to go and I'm just floating!! Baby was perfect!! Measured 9 weeks and 3 days, heartbeat of 171 bpm and it was waving its little arms and legs at us! We ended up having the same ultrasound tech that we had in the ER for our last loss in November and she was great. She pointed everything out to us and took lots of time. She got us a couple good pictures of the baby waving his arm at us too!!
I of course laid there and cried while I held DH's hand... we're both so incredibly happy right now! Thank you all for your wishes and thoughts. It means the world to me!
My family has decided (because they're goofy that way!) that they're going to call the baby Bertram until we have a sex and name set.... so, without further ado, here is baby Bertram!!
(((hugs))) I know how it feels... I have a strong positive feeling that all will be perfect tomorrow.

Do not ever give up hope...
Taking the day off is great idea, gives you time to celebrate and maybe buy the baby a little gift for the baby for working so hard at being healthy! I do know how you feel though, the 8-9wk is also my milestone. One of my loss's the baby had stopped growing at 8wks and I found out at 9wks, after seeing such a healthy h/b at 6wks. You being so patient to wait this long for an u/s is going to make seeing that little h/b even more emotional! Cant wait for pics and your update! Praying for you and your little one!!
