To me this is disgusting, but I can see the better good in the benefits that it has. Here is article that I found here on JM about it. What are your thoughts.

I can appreciate the benefits associated with it, but certainly not something I'd do.

I'd consider encapsulation, but not actually eating it.

^^Lol. Yeah, I certainly wouldnt eat my placenta.

But I actually wanted to do encapsulation...but the lady who does it was on vacation from mid to end of September. So I pretty much knew I couldn't do it because I knew he was coming a bit earlier than his October due date. We only have one who does it here.

There was a mom in my DDC who made them into the capsules and did it. She felt great after having a baby. She didn't lose any hair, no heavy bleeding, etc. She did it for a few of her babies. I never knew anything about it until her. She swore by it. To each their own.

I'm going to talk to my midwife about it. If there's someone locally that will prepare it for me I just might do it. I'm a little nervous about PPD and if this might help...

I thought about encapsulating it but I couldn't straight up eat it.

I don't think many people actually eat it. If we had the money to do encapsulation, I would absolutely do it.

No thank you. Even considering taking a pill that has meat of a human makes me sick to my stomach. To each their own though, just definetely not for me.
