I really miss you guys but things here are crazy. This is the first time in 3 days that I have been able to put him down long enough to do anything other than use the bathroom before he starts crying.

I found out yesterday he was tounge tied and not nursing properly so we had to take him and get laser surgery. The DR said good thing we caught it this early because he would have had really bad speech problems and the movement was so limted he would have never been able to stick his tounge out or use it to clear food between his teeth and his check. I have blisters on my nipples because he was not able to nurse properly so hope to work through this pain and that they heal in the next couple days.

So between his Circ on Monday and his tounge surgery yesterday he has been super fussy and was probably need getting enough food on top of that.

I hope to get my birth story typed out and posted here soon before I forget little detail. I did get my natural child birth and it happen so fast he was almost a car birth.

I hope everyone is doing well and I really miss you guys and hope to be back next week.

I can't wait to see a picture!!!
Alex was also tounge tied, they found out when he was born. The lactation nurse gave me a shield to help, it worked out great. I'm surprise they did laser surgery, with Alex they just made a tiny cut, he cried for about 5 min and that was the end of it, but also it took them until he was 6 weeks old to do it
How's Madison doing?

So glad they found it so quick! I know it is really hard to nurse a tongue tied baby. Kieran was too (but not nearly as severe). I hope things get easier as they settle down. Take all the time you need!! We are here

Totally understandable! I'm glad you got your natural birth! Too bad about his tongue tie, but it's good they figured it out and got it taken care of. I hope that helps!

Congrats on your little one!

Glad they found out about the tongue tie. My son had that, too. He had surgery at 2 days old to correct it, but it took him a while to learn to use it (since he couldn't in utero). If it doesn't get easier right away, don't be afraid to use a nipple shield or to pump and feed that way while you heal.

Sorry he is being so fussy right now. That sucks about his tongue being so bad :/ poor little guy.

I hope it gets better soon. We understand how it is when you first bring a baby home.

I can't wait to read his birth story when you have a chance to post it! Congrats!

He seems to be doing good with it now it just takes a little longer to get him latched cause he wants to pull it up.
Im sure all the scar tissue under there is not helping things. His tie was all the way out to the tip of his tounge. I found out talking to my parents mine was too and they had to have it clipped.
For a couple days I was pumping and dropper feeding it to him because he lost to much weight... and then my milk got stuck. its been a crazy week.
