I don't know where else to express my hurt and disappointment... Having lost babies ranging from chemical losses to my sweet baby boy Daniel at 19 weeks 2 days, it is just unimaginable to me that anyone could be so heartless as to pretend to lose a baby. It really hurts & I just want to cuss out people who do that... and even though their action is uncaring & horrific, I still wouldn't wish a loss on them for real, because no one should experience that pain, no matter what they've done...

I joined this forum for support and to share the ups and downs with people- I just don't get why anyone would be fake... Can't they go to a "psycho's" forum or some chat room for attention???

We had something like that happen in our DDC. It really got to me too. I think it's hard enough dealing with a faker, but for us it's even worse because we have really encountered loss. Don't let the crummy ones take away from your experience in your DDC because I'm learning that even with the fake ones . . there are some really great people too.

Ditto this! I've been on the boards since 2009 and there have been many "trolls" come & go. BUT there are so many women that I have met that are more than just online friends... they are family! What I can tell you is most of the time, the fakers are people who need serious physiological help. I truly feel sorry for them. But I agree I have felt very hurt by a few.

I don't know how anyone has the time to be a troll. I am so sorry you have encountered one - they really are the scum of the earth.

I've never experienced this before, even though I'd heard it happens... All of the women I've come to know on this board have been marvelous and some like Katie said, so much more like a family - it just astounded me that anyone would think it appropriate or fun to do something that so many of us have had to endure for real. The person was supposedly about 19 weeks pregnant - having gone through that scenario myself, I felt really bad reading it (even though a lot of us in the DDC were cautious about her) - it just brought back being at the hospital giving birth to Daniel, who I knew wouldn't make it

Anyway, I just wanted to thank all you ladies for being spectacular!

Tanya, I am so sorry....I can't believe someone would have the guts to fake something like that. It does scream attention and their need for professional help. I'm more sorry about the fact that this brought painful memories for you. HUGS

I have come across a couple of them in my time on JM and it does astound me the level to which they will go to get attention. I can't imagine pretending something so terrible happened when it didn't and causing grief to those who HAVE had it happen. It's terrible.

I am sorry she upset you and I hope you get the support you need in light of it, instead of her. Because making you relive that, for someones giggles, is the true tragedy.

So sorry you had to deal with that. We had one of those on our DDC and it was really upsetting to the whole group. Especially because we had lost two babies recently. We were all full term. Some people just suck.
