i go in for my 40wk checkup tomorrow evening im due thursday and really stressed last week at our appointment the dr was concerned i hadnt had the baby yet im not dilated at all but she shows all the signs of being ready dr thinks shes to big for me to deliver normaly and i have alot of swelling but he dosnt think its toxemia since my blood pressure is pretty low so hes going to do an u/s tomorrow and some blood work to check my kidneys since i have a bad kidney so might be scheduling a c-section wish me luck everyone im scared shes not ok since the dr was so concerned
How did you make out? Also, I am curious why they won't just induce you instead of csection. Easier recovery.
Though I also add, my u/s show the baby is small and every time, they are off by over 2lbs. For me, my babies are short so the u/s always shows 2 lbs less. For some, I've seen 2-3 pounds heavier than what the baby really is. It's a guess and unless your baby is perfect length to width, it will be off ..
