great collection of BM!

I have no maternity stash, I have 5 shirts and 1 pair of shorts to get me through the summer. At least I sure did get a lot of good use out of them - this is my 3rd time around wearing them!

Maternity wear:
1 pair of jeans that fit, two pairs that are too small
1 pair of black dress pants that are almost too small
1 pair of capris
4 jersey skirts
1 pair maternity yoga pants
1 pair black maternity leggings
1 pair of shorts
7 short sleeved shirts
4 long sleeved shirts
5 tunics
5 tank tops
2 dresses
4 nursing tanks

...to be fair, I was working full time and had to look nice when I was pregnant with Josiah, so I had to buy way more maternity clothes then. I saved them all. The only things I have bought this time around were 1 new nursing tank, a short sleeved top, a long sleeved top, leggings, and a bigger size of jeans. Oh yeah, and a dress for a wedding (I'm singing for it and was asked to wear a specific color).

I can't take a picture while I am at work, but I have about 12oz in the refrigerator and 40-50 in the freezer? I don't really know for sure. I don't feel like it's enough and I can't pump as much as most people, it seems (I queried my DDC/PR).

Wanna hear a funny?

I have about 500 oz. of frozen breastmilk...and a child who WILL NOT take a bottle, cup, or other substitute for the boob. So yeah. I pump for my own comfort, not for a stash and don't do it often. But unless he starts taking a cup (we gave up on the bottle, since he is 9 months old), it is gonna have to be trashed. I can't donate because I take meds while nursing. Le sigh.

Maybe you could use it to mix into baby food when you start doing that. I don't know what kind of solids thing you're planning on doing. I hope to make my own baby food and a lot of the recipes say to to thin it out with formula or breast milk.

This was my stash when my son was about 5 months old. I had over 1500 oz. in there. I think I had even more in there at one point too. Now I only have the top shelf with some and I think the second shelf is completely full plus like 5 or 6 bags at the bottom. My MIL has about 5 bags at her house too though.

It is in our deep freezer. I had problems getting him to nurse for the first 2 months. He wouldn't really latch at all. I guess from pumping so much in the beginning it helped. We have been able to use a lot of it because when I started subbing a lot in January I didn't get near as much when I pumped. He drank more than I put back. Plus when he visits his grandparents we would use it. It is in our deep freezer so it will stay good for several more months up to 6 months.
