So, I know I don't post much but I am hoping you guys might have a little insight..

My due date came and went yesterday..but on the good side I did lose my mucus plug! Yay!

Did you ladies notice a change in your discharge after that happened? My discharge has been pretty consistantly cloudy and milky throughout the third trimester. Since yesterday it has turned watery and clear. When I stood up from going to the bathroom a couple times yesterday, it felt wet like I hadn't even wiped... I don't know if I am feeling urine or amnotic fluid. I've read to lay down for a while and if you feel wetness when standing up, it could be a fluid leak. I have done this and don't really feel a gush. The wetness has not been that consistant that I feel it is definitely a leak but my underwear does have a wet spot... Does this sound like a leak to you? I have a call into my dr office but they have not called back yet.

Thanks!!

In all honesty, if you don't feel a gush after laying down for a while, I don't think it is a leak. I would call the doctor just to make sure though.

I have that wet feeling almost all the time, and I haven't lost my plug. I would ask the doctor. I read somewhere that if it smell, then it's pee, otherwise its fluid Not sure how correct that is or not.

Thanks for the replies! Decided to get checked out just incase even though the nurse did not think it was my water. It wasn't. Am apparently just peeing myself or having a different type of discharge than I am used to. Darn. I was hoping I would be meeting this baby tonight!!

I'm glad you got it checked out. Hopefully the baby will come very soon.
