Hey ladies-

First of all...congratulations to all of you for getting pregnant after a loss! I had a m/c last October and I know the pain and heartache it causes.

This is my first month on Clomid and I was wondering if anyone here has had a m/c and was put on Clomid and conceived shortly after. I have low progesterone levels so I'm hoping that the Clomid helps me ovulate better. I am SOOOO ready to be pregnant and have a baby so I need a little encouragement right about now...

Thanks!

Jen

Jen, you know my story and you know I am cheering for you! Lets hope Clomid is as successful or more successful for you than it was for me and you'll be pregnant in 2 cycles (or less!) 50 mg didnt make me ovulate, but 100mg- oh man, I felt those ovulation pains like my ovaries were giving birth!

Good luck!

(Oh, and if the rumor is true, I heard conceiving via Clomid makes you have less morning sickness. It was true for me this time around. I had not a single day of nausea and with Ethan I threw up every day all day for 20 weeks!- I knoe know if it was just a conicidence or not, but no nausea was great!)

Thanks Steph! It's always nice to hear from you. Yeah, I hope that 50 mg does the trick for me but I'll do a second month of it or move up a dosage if I have to.

Let's also hope that the morning sickness thing is true too! That's great that you weren't sick a single day!

Jen,

My situation was almost identical to yours. I went of birth control, got pg two months later and miscarried. Four months after the mc, I had yet to get pg again. I noticed that my cycles were short with a short luteal phase and went to see my doctor. My progesterone was low and I was put on Clomid. I conceived the first month on it and so far had a problem free pregnancy.

Good luck.

Margo

Thanks Margo. I remember you and I'm so glad that everything is going well in your pregnancy!!! I hope that I conceive my first month as well! Did you have many side effects? I'm having some ovary pain while BD'ing and it's making me a little worried.

I had very few side effects if any. I had night sweats for a couple of days. I also had a bit of ovulation pain but I tend to have that with unmedicated cycles as well. Good luck to you. I hope you get yur BFP on the first try.

Jen, ovary pain while BDing was the only side effect I had the month that I finally conceived- I hope that means as good of news for you as it did for me!!!!
