Girly, how are you doing? Haven't see you post anything here yet, any doctor's appointments?

you are so sweet to check up on me Patty! i've been kind of quiet, because i'm honestly feeling like the u/s next Friday is going to bring bad news. i don't have any spotting or anything bad (which is good) but my m/s is still very mild (just gagging) and has actually improved over the past few days, which of course amps up my paranoia that a loss could be imminent.

Trying to be patient until next Friday...is hard when i'm consumed with fear, despite my best efforts to just be zen since i can't change what will happen, regardless.

My m/s with this one was very mild, my boobs hardly hurt (well not as much as with Alex), I didn't gag when brushing my teeth, which with Alex it lasted until 15 or 16 weeks. So, could this mean you are having a boy?
I been thinking about you all week, I just have tons of stuff going on at work and of course, going on maternity leave soon, does not help things.

i have wondered whether boob pain is even a reliable symptom after having a child & doing extended BFing....the WORST boob pain i had, by far, was with first pregnancy....and it's gotten progressively less with each subsequent pregnancy (including Savannah's) so i wonder if it's just me or same for everyone

Oh Lara I hope your ultrasound brings wonderful news. But I completely understand the fear you have. It sucks that you cant enjoy the pregnancy.

Lara I hope you get great news next week at your u/s. your still early for morning sickness. I know for me I don't start getting really bad morning sickness until around 8 to 10 weeks. I'm sending lots of prayers and hoping the time passes quickly for you.

Your feeling is normal. I talk myself into thinking something is wrong with Sean before every ultrasound. It absolutely sucks that loss brings us to feel this way. Maybe you're just lucky with the light M/S!

With Scarlett's pregnancy the morning sickness did not fully kick in until about 7 weeks and then woah it was horrible!! With my boys I hardly got sick at all... So maybe you are having a boy

PAL is so hard... ((hugs))

thanks everyone i really do appreciate the kind words....i (of course) come up with a thousand "but it could just be..." reasons for why the m/s is so slight (and improving, which continues to worry me). I do totally cling to the hope that while this pregnancy is behaving very differently than my pregnancy with Savannah, that the reason isn't b/c it's failing but b/c it's a boy

i am super nervous for this u/s on Friday...all of the nurses in the RE's office are so excited for me, and i know this sounds stupid, but i feel like i'm disappointing them if it's bad news b/c they've worked hard for this BFP too

I can tell you that boob pain is different in each pregnancy after the first. With my second, I barely grew a cup size where as my first I grew 4 times larger and had terrible pain. Then my third was bad again and my fourth. My fifth, none at all and my sixth slight. This one, my seventh, horrible pain again.

M/S was almost non-existint with all my boys and horrible with my girls. I had bad m/s with this one from wk 6 to 8, then it COMPLETELY stopped. I was praying it was a boy to calm my nerves, and IT IS!

Praying for super good results for your u/s and you will be back with the big annoucement of a wonderful h/b!!

I hope your ultrasound brings great news. I know I didn't sleep the night before a ultrasound. I know it is easier said then done. Try not to worry.

Time for me to give my "two cents" ? I had no ms until 6 wks with all of my pgs. And all of them were different. And all of them were boys. My WORST "chest" pain was with the PG that I lost. I had only a little with my second PG. It was more "tingly" than pain. And the others? I had none.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that all of your symptoms are promising. You are pregnant. We won't know what's going on until the 20th? I am soooo sorry you have to wait so long.

Please know that we are all praying for you and thinking of you. Look at your numbers. You didn't think they looked good. And BAMMM! They were more than normal. Updates don't need to be test results or u/s pics. We're all here for you to tell us how you're feeling as you approach important dates, tests, morning worries, fears, random thoughts, etc...

Praying for your and your family (including your little one)
K
