Not doing it at all. That's what happens here with 2 energetic munchkins and 2 babies.

For keeping positive, just taking it minute by minute, hour by hour, day by day. Even if it means forcing myself, making plans for the baby. I also created a private registry on Amazon while in my first trimester to start planning and that helped me feel positive.

I agree, add a dog to the equation. Best advise, people are not there to see how clean the house is, they are there to see you and the baby, if anyone comments on the cleanest of your house, let them know where the cleaning supplies are
